The Land Restoration Enabler Award,, recognises organisations driving Kenya’s land restoration agenda through innovation, capacity building, policy influence, market development, and investment mobilisation. Awardees demonstrate measurable contributions to regenerative practices, from agroforestry and biodiversity protection to soil and water conservation, efforts that align with the vision of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and position Kenya as a climate-smart leader on the continent.
This year’s conference, themed “Sustainable Entrepreneurship: Promoting Innovation, Inclusivity, and Socio-Economic Development,” convened visionary leaders shaping Kenya’s entrepreneurial landscape. Over two days, participants explored the future of enterprise through rich dialogue and bold ideas spanning policy, technology, capital access, inclusion, sustainability, and cross-border collaboration. The gathering underscored a shared commitment to building an ecosystem where enterprises can grow, adapt, create meaningful employment, and strengthen community resilience.
As the leading association empowering startups and SMEs in Kenya, ASSEK continues to champion a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem through advocacy, networking, capacity building, and research. JLA is honoured to be recognised among organisations driving transformative impact and contributing to a more sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous Kenya and Africa.
