JACOB’S LADDER AFRICA - PRIVACY POLICY

Jacob’s Ladder Africa, a foundation incorporated in the Republic of Kenya, is a platform to address social-economic issues affecting Africa including climate change, leadership & governance, science & innovation, economic empowerment, and education.

  • people who enter into contracts with us/register for our service; and
  • job applicants, those who register to participate in our conferences, webinars, symposia and other meetings and activities.

When you enter into a contract with us/register for our service OR apply for a job with us OR register to participate in our conferences, webinars, symposia or other meetings and activities, we collect the following personal information from you:

    • Postal address, physical address, email address and telephone number and;
    • Occasionally we may receive information about you from other sources (such as credit reference agencies) which we will add to the information which we already hold about you to help us provide or manage our services.

We gather this information to allow us, our agents and/or subcontractors to process your registration or application or process any requests you may make or provide the services requested. If Jacob’s Ladder Africa ceases or winds up its operations or its operations are integrated with another business, your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective successors or assigns and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the organisation.
